Fish Tacos with Avocado & Mango Salsa

Light, zesty, and full of sunshine, these Fish Tacos with Avocado & Mango Salsa celebrate fresh flavours and vibrant colours. Tender, spice-rubbed white fish pairs with creamy avocado and juicy mango for a perfect balance of heat, tang, and sweetness. Finished with a cool, garlicky quark sauce, they’re easy to make, beautiful to serve, and ideal for casual dinners or summer gatherings.

Fish Tacos with Avocado & Mango Salsa

Fish Tacos with Avocado & Mango Salsa

Serves: 4
Time: 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 600 g white fish, cubed
  • 8 small tortillas
  • Spices (paprika, cumin, chilli powder, salt, pepper)

Avocado & Mango Salsa:

  • 250 g mango (diced, thawed if frozen)
  • 2 avocados
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 lime
  • 1 fresh chilli, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 100 g cucumber, diced
  • 1 handful fresh coriander

Garlic Sauce:

  • 200 g quark
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1–2 tsp honey
  • Lime juice, salt & pepper

METHOD:

  • Make salsa: mix mango, avocado, onion, cucumber, tomato, chilli, coriander, lime juice, salt & pepper.
  • Season fish with spices, pan-fry until cooked through.
  • Mix garlic sauce ingredients. Thin with water if needed.
  • Fill tortillas with fish, salsa, and garlic sauce.
